Henrique Savonitti

Portuguese (Brazil) English Italian

Henrique Savonitti Miranda was born in Araraquara, State of São Paulo, Brazil.

Grandson of Italian immigrants and son of parents who are teachers – his father was a professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) and his mother, a teacher at the public school in the State of São Paulo – has always dedicated himself to studies.

On July 2, 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of São Carlos. In the same year, he attended the Professional Specialization Course in Tax Law, promoted by IBET / PUC-SP and by IBDT / USP. In 2002, he completed her Master’s in Law at the University of Franca, Brazil.

After more than 12 years of professional activity, in 2013 he resumed his studies, now to attend the Master’s course in Administrative Law and Public Management at the Università La Sapienza, in Rome (Master di Secondo Livello in Organizzazione, management, innovazione nelle Pubbliche Amministrazioni), with the objective of studying public tenders and contracts from the perspective of Comparative Law (Project work title: “Main legislative innovations for bidding and contracts administration in Brazil in the light of European and American legislation”).

The course opened the door to his dream of studying for a Doctorate in Law (PhD) at the University of Udine, northwestern Italy, his grandparents’ home region. The research object (eligibility and exclusion requirements for bidding: an approach between France, Italy and Brazil), aroused the interest of French researchers (University of Toulon), resulting in the conclusion of an agreement (agreement of international joint supervision thesis), which enabled him to obtain a Doctor of Law degree from both Universities.

Currently, Dr. Henrique Savonitti has been dedicated to law and legal consultancy in the areas of Administrative Law and Infrastructure Law.
