The Savonitti Institute of Higher Education was created on April 15th, 2003, acting as a sponsor of the Savonitti College.
On the August 10th, 2003, the Savonitti Institute signed an agreement with the Tropical Mall of Araraquara. An entry was given for the accreditation and authorization process for the Law School of the Savonitti College on September 30th, 2003.
On December 7th, 2005, the Order of the MEC n° 4242 (published in Official Gazette n° 235, Section 1, p. 5 of December 8th, 2005), accredited and authorized the operation of the Law Course if the Savnonitti College, with 120 semi vacancies divided between morning and evening periods

The Savonitti School was born with the dream of its founder, seeking to offer a legal education of excellence. During the five years that Prof. Henrique Savonitti stayed ahead of the College, the company obtained excellent results. The Savonitti College reached 1st place in the macro-region and the 14th position, in the entire state of São Paulo, obtained by students entering the ENADE/ 2006, as well as the excellent performance of their students obtained in civil service exams for interns, always achieving 1st, place for years.
In ENADE/ 2009, an excellent performance was repeated and the scores of freshmen were even greater.
On March 22nd, 2010, the Savonitti College was administered by the UNIESP Group. On November 18th, 2010, the Savonitti College was definitely taken over by the UNIESP Group (Ordinance MEC/ Sesu n° 1,893, published in Official Gazette n° 221, Section 1, p. 12 of November18th, 2010) and received a new a name: Araraquara College.
