1988 Constitution collection: Brazil 20 years later

The 1988 Constitution collection: Brazil 20 years later it was released in October 2008, at the Plenary of the Federal Senate, to celebrate the 20 years of the promulgation of the Federal Constitution of 1988.

The collection consists of 5 volumes, and contains articles from the most respected jurists and Brazilian parliamentarians, including ministers of the Supreme Court Gilmar Mendes (then President of the Supreme Court) and Marco Aurélio Mello; Minister Nancy Andrighi from the STJ; Senators Mercadante, Cristovam Buarque, Jarbas Vasconcelos, Marco Maciel, Paulo Paim, Pedro Simon and Romeu Tuma; and professors Luis Roberto Barroso, Paulo de Barros Carvalho, Flavia Piovesan, Sacha Calmon Navarro Coelho, José Roberto Bassul, David Luiz Alberto Araujo, among others.

The article by professor Henrique Savonitti entitled “The effects of judicial review of decisions rendered by the Supreme Court” is in Volume III of the Collection, called The Consolidation of the Institutions, with legal articles from jurists Bruno Dantas, Gustavo Tepedino, Teresa Arruda Alvim Wambier Roberto Rosas, Minister Nancy Andrighi, André Ramos Tavares, José Alfredo Baracho Junior, Luiz Guilherme Marioni, Nelson Nery Junior, Alexandre de Moraes, Arruda Alvim, Humberto Theodoro Junior and Senator Romeu Tuma.
